Megs (Lisa's friend from Ohio) Lisa, and friends make the most of a visit to Washington State, including dragon boat racing at Tacoma's Maritime Fest, attending Stadium's Centennial Celebration and a trip to Lake Quinault and Ruby Beach (whew, we're tired)

Dragon Boat Racing at Tacoma's Maritime Fest (We WON!)

(L to R) The City of Tacoma takes home the Mayor's cup at Maritime Fest, a dramatic finish, Megs and Lisa hanging from the rigging of one of the tall ships, posing with their medals on the Pierce County Sheriff's boat (the Sergeant took the picture, what a nice public servant), Megs, Lisa, Mayor Baarsma, Phil and Mary accept the trophy and medals for the City of Tacoma.
